ABOUT ME

I am a 19-year-old photographer, DP, editor, and director.

My creative journey took off in July 2022, when as a summer student at Parsons School of Design in New York I ventured into the unknown with my camera and began to look at the world in a completely different way. I had taken high school classes in design and film, but it was at Parsons that I realized I was capable of capturing a singular moment, expression, or emotion within the abundance of humanity around me, and making it last forever. I photographed a group of homeless men in Washington Square Park, capturing their beauty and worthiness through portraits that highlight how society failed them (see section). These photos changed my life, igniting a passion to capture the emotions and stories of the diverse people I meet. As someone with American, Australian, and French heritage growing up in Amsterdam, I have been exposed to many different cultures, values, and ideologies and developed an open and curious mind. Film and photography have given me an outlet for me to creatively channel these traits.

My work is versatile, which is a product of a multicultural upbringing. My first year in London taught me that I can make something special out of my talent. I am extremely ambitious, and constantly improving. In May of 2024, I was one of 25 applicants accepted out of 800+ to the La Masia Creative Direction workshop, hosted by Gabriel Moses, and given a hands-on workshop with one of the best directors in the game. This showed me that by staying consistent, humble, and working hard, great things can be achieved.
